Types of imagination, their characteristics and social functions

Everyone knows that between the world around us, and those images that we arise in his perception, there is a very significant difference.The reason for this is the presence of a person of such a phenomenon as the imagination.Human imagination is as it were of two main components.The first element of it - a memory which stores images of the past reality, which remained a particular person.The second - a fantasy, the level of which is individual.Due to the fact that both of these properties are unique to each, then the imagination is also a subjective property

All types of imaging can also be classified on the basis of the diversity of their causes.It is isolated species such as where each has its own particular imagination.Here are some of them:

- involuntary imagination, which is characterized, as a rule, when a person reduces the control over their own thoughts and attention.Such imagination occurs "by itself" and inherent to people at an early stage in life, in childhood or early adolescence.Very often it occurs in a dream or half asleep.A distinctive feature of such involuntary representations is their relationship with other "residual" images of consciousness, resulting in fixation of the performance is very weak;

- dream man is a phenomenon which is as it brings together all kinds of imagination in determining the stability of the wholeness, concentrated reflecting its aspirations, life orientation, values.
