School uniforms in Russia may again become mandatory since 1 September 2013.This decision is likely to be adopted by law at the federal level, but specific details are left to the heads of the regions and provinces.Although the project is still being discussed, it has already caused a lot of controversy.

- each school will establish several types of clothing: the front, sports and casual;
- school uniforms should be made in business style and be secular;
- Clothes students must meet all sanitary and epidemiological requirements;
- in educational institutions will limit the possibility of wearing a large furniture items, the symbols of informal youth movements, texts and images that promote anti-social and illegal behavior.
