Standardization - a necessary element of technical regulation

predominance of private ownership of the state, availability of services and goods markets, the rapid update their structure and, as a consequence, a complete change of device economy significantly affect the ability to use the old system of state standards in Russia.

Standardization - is the development of specific provisions for their use in the manufacture of certain products in order to ensure optimum cost savings for all stakeholders and the simultaneous observance of safety rules and operating conditions.The established standards should be based on universal benefits from the introduction of science and technology.National standardization initially had the following objectives:

  • ensure the safety of the country's production for the life and health of people and the environment;

  • to eliminate technical barriers to the production and trade;

  • save all kinds of resources;

  • ensure interchangeability of products, as well as information and technical compatibility;

  • unify control methods and marking;

  • provide quality products, taking into account the interests of the state and consumers, as well as its competitiveness.

Even in difficult times for the country during the last century was the development of classifications, linen, wool, cotton was introduced international metric system of weights and measures, and established the State Center for Standardization.It was crucial for the country.

Today, standardization - it is just a set of unordered and harmonized technical regulations, standards, conformity assessment procedures requiring improvement.

In 2002, the Russian Federation adopted the Law "On Technical Regulation", which abolished the previously existing legislative document - "On Standardization".Modern standardization - this, according to members of the business community, a stumbling block in the development of the country's industry, administrative barriers, linking the initiative of any business.At the same time about the benefits that can bring the observance of standards based on many years of practical experience and achievements of science, to express their opinion for some reason I do not speak.In a market economy system standardization - it is one of the elements of the technical regulation, which can provide a significant contribution to the economic development of the country.Indeed, in many European countries, one-third of annual growth is achieved through the effective implementation of standards.

Thus, we can assume that in the finalization of the existing regulations, bringing them into line with the real time needs of the economy and our country can be a powerful tool for ensuring a prosperous economy.But with the development of an updated national standardization system it is also important to define the role of the state in it.In the first stage of implementation of the new provisions standardization of all processes and the centralization of control is extremely important.Over time, economic waste regulatory mechanisms can be automated (optionally transferred to the private sector).
